Tandem Paragliding
Before you know it, you've completed a thorough briefing and are hooked into a special paragliding harness. Adrenaline is pumping through your body, and the excitement level is high.
Looking down the slope (while connected securely to your instructor and the tandem glider) you realize you are about to run off the side of a mountain!
Description:
After a scenic ride up the Aerial Tramway at Alyeska Resort, and a short briefing including an introduction to paragliding basics and getting outfitted in a helmet and 
harness, you can enjoy the experience of a lifetime. You and your instructor pilot will fly from the mountainside like a bird from a point near the top Tramway terminal. Flights can be a radical adrenalin buzz or a mellow sight seeing sensation just ask your pilot. Together we will glide down the valley floor to Moose Meadows for a landing on soft Alaskan muskeg.
As "co-pilot," you will have to take a few steps together with your instructor pilot down the side of a mountain in order to produce enough airspeed to launch. Luckily, this only takes between 3-15 steps, so when wheather permits just about anyone can do this!

For reservations, call 907-754-2400, or email info@alyeskaadventures.com. Flights operate daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm, weather permitting, from late May until the end of September.
To check in: go to the Alyeska Resort Tram (cable car) ticket window at the Alyeska Resort to pick up your pass for the Tram ride segment of the activity. They will tell you where to meet your pilot. After signing up and taking the Tram ride to the top, an explanation of the take off procedure occurs.
Please come prepared with an adventurous spirit, and sturdy footwear.
Time Requirement:
2 hours, with 10-15 minutes of flight time (however, certain portions of the activity may be expedited when more than one guest is taken through the orientation process at one time.)
